I’m not the person you asked, but if i had to venture a guess (and you’re genuinely asking lol) id say it’s probably a combination of a few factors, like the derivative nature of the premise, the excessive 'try hard" vibe, the unsteady, ‘too far, too fast’ escalation to an aburdly boring and low stakes ‘endgame’… I dunno, mix and match from there as you like i guess? Lol
How can a low stakes ending be “too far”
There’s no great payoff but like…your problem is they took it too far?? This post would have been flamed to hell on early 4chan for not having enough racism and sexual assault
