Mining is a great way to get many small amounts of XMR to use for tips. The main site has a FAQ that lists several ways to get Monero you can look at too.

Actually, the sitewide minimum tip was recently made even less, only 0.0001 XMR, or 2 cents. Each content creator with a tip page is able to set their own minimum tip amount higher if they’d like.
XMRChat works for both live and not synchronous events. Streamers can display xmrchats live with Streamyard or OBS. And podcasters can have a “Boosts” (or whatever they’d like to call it) section where they read questions/comments from fans.
This is coming! If you click on the magnifying glass, that’ll bring you to the XMRChat search page. We plan to have some indicator showing which content creators are currently live, to make it easy to find those.
Yeah, it’s interesting, I expected the fundraiser to get many small donations, but this one has got some real heavy hitters!
The person that created it, on Twitter as @AnarkioC, saw it got hardly any usage compared to other market places. He is also working with Doug Tuman on the new XMR Bazaar marketplace.
He also said he had problems that would result in him becoming homeless, and no longer able to maintain the site. Multiple people offered to help, including myself, but he never accepted any. Annoyingly, he has locked his Twitter account and deleted his tweets.
I copy pasted the top paragraph into Google Translate, it’s good stuff, here you go:
Hello, I have been doing an investigation for 2 months about a very large phenomenon occurring in “EL ALTO, BOLIVIA” a city that is located on the outskirts of the capital of said country, El Alto is a second city, it has more than 1 million of inhabitants, but the most interesting thing is that within it, there is a market of more than 2 kilometers where there are only street merchants, where absolutely everything is sold, from cars, machines, computers, clothing, food, furniture, to medicine . the government could not stop the progress of this and could not even encourage the use of digital wallets, all transactions between peers are in cash. a Silk Road that works on Thursdays and Sundays. I have made two threads explaining this event on my twitter account: @PICANTEXMR and I want to get there with the aim of finding 20 or 30 young traders who can be a circle of liquidity in Monero and learn to use it among peers and can start promoting the use of fungible digital money. go from cash to true electronic cash. and in turn integrate more merchants and customers to the P2P xmr of the July 16 fair in El Alto, Bolivia. I will leave below the two threads that I have made on twitter if anyone wants to read, and I will also leave the donation link to achieve the goal of going there and establishing monero among young traders.
And this is a working link to their Kuno fundraiser, looks like they added the title which broke their link. https://kuno.anne.media/fundraiser/vsle/
The XMRChat site looks great on a mobile browser, how about trying that?
