What, and live with negativity at the heart of every atom?
Yeah it felt like the Bible and the white/yellow pages used the thinnest paper I’d ever seen
No he is misrepresenting what’s going on and telling on himself.
Hmm, I bought a prebuilt in 2019 and the most annoying thing about upgrading it was that it had a custom motherboard, power supply and the case wasn’t compatible with anything else. I read the thread but missed who your prebuilt was from, as that might have a lot of bearing on how customizable your system is as a platform.
That doesn’t mean that everyone should support games being forced into having all genders, or races, or include trans people
The fuck are you talking about? No one is forcing anyone to “have all genders or races or include trans people”
Who are these fucking complete garbage people who can conceive of a world where there are elves, dwarves, Qunari and darkspawn, but trans people are a bridge too far?
gosh who would want an uncommon character that obviously most average people aren’t thinking about in their passwords, that sounds like it might even be somewhat secure.
goddamn the rock hard edge on this one, it’s sooo cooool.
I assume my niece, who is 13, knows who Tom Hanks is.
So one of my “oh shit I’m old” moments, 10 years ago was a 19 year old friend of my neighbor who had no idea that the Jackson 5 were related to Michael Jackson. He thought they were “Michael Jackson and his 4 black friends”. So, check that assumption lol
yeah I mean you could say that first sentence about anything 😃 but also yeah it’s increasingly uslessly reductive (other than to divide endlessly) to talk about individual Americans that way, in my opinion. I wish we’d stop. I think Hannity has a vested interest in promoting the idea that americans line up into two neat camps.
I personally prefer the idea that democrats and republicans are elected party members and party officials and that voters are Americans, who can choose to support any of (or none of) these independent organizations. In the same way that I am not a Seattle Kraken.
(ETA: also, you can track a direct line of interest in treating politics like a team sport and what Hannity is trying to do, so literally as far away from that as you can get is what I’m talking about.)
chef there’s nothing in this burger
bruh, do you want to get a song written about you? Because this is how you get a song written about you. The song will go on looooong after you’re dead. tread lightly.
I see. I have some old computers kicking around, I actually just deployed a windows media server, but that could easily be a Linux server and probably should be. That system I could easily boot only Linux so that appeals.
The issue with my main PC is that it has multiple terabytes of windows -related stuff. I get how I could read the old drives but there are terabytes of games that I’d have to reinstall to do that on that computer (compatibility issues aside) it sounds like
I could do that, but how does Linux see/interact with my Windows stuff? Am I double-installing games to run-as-Windows with something like Proton? (like a Linux install and a Windows install on the old drive?)
Oh I thought the sign was going to say “we have to sacrifice everything we believe in for the incredibly narrow issues going on in a single state because of the Electoral College, that’s how democracy works you dumbfuck” but my eyes are getting bad
What did you do with your file system? I haven’t tried to dual boot Linux yet but I think bothering with partitioning and file systems is keeping me from taking the plunge.
(BTW it reminds me of why I didn’t go to law school, I hated filling out the paperwork for even doing the LSAT and realized the whole job is that. Dealing with partitioning and file systems and shit seems miserable and it’s just the start.)
