do you have anything against systemd in particular?
do you have anything against systemd in particular?
i can’t believe i found a linux user these days who doesn’t use systemd. if it’s not weird to ask, when did you switch to devuan and why do you prefer its init? why not go with bsd?
it’s also relevant that the prominent marxist-leninist tiktok user madeline pendleton came out last year about being approached by the dnc over this. naturally, she was harassed, slandered, and suffered financial consequences from some of these same people. that’s all well and good but it’s really surprising to me that so many of the people who did it were not involved in the dark money thing. i guess because liberals are more interested in harassing communists than they are in their own material interests
my fault. i forgot it wasn’t big news for people who aren’t deep into politics tiktok drama. i meant this one
i think i may not have been clear that i was talking specifically about mcdonald’s being on the bds list. i know the boycott had better results in the middle east but it hasn’t had zero effect in the west
individual boycott is somewhat liberal, yes. collective boycott, as with BDS, has impacts, especially as part of a broader mass movement, as is the case with israel and south africa
i don’t use it but for the asynchronous side of stuff there’s nncp. it’s supposed to be a modern version of uucp, which is what usenet used before the internet. not directly related but it seemed kinda cool ig
idk if you’re craving the fries too but this is the original recipe from before they made it suck https://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/original-mcdonalds-french-fry-recipe
girl the boycott
a lot of these people shit their pants once they find out that the ukrainian military doesn’t give you a free drone strike for every 5 kills
that’s how you get committed
it’s insufferable sometimes how easy it is to scare the shit out of these professional-managerial types. i might do that just to mess with them
have you tried giving them tiny ant-sized balls
are there quintillions of states
you’ll never believe this
i don’t use ubiquiti, but the only thing you need to do with your firewall to get better-than-NAT security is allow only outgoing connections/disallow incoming connections. usually on consumer routers that’s the default setting anyway or there’s a checkbox to that effect.
i’ve done both ipv4 and v6, but never embedded. from my perspective, ipv6 addresses can be easier to remember and use, with a little clever arrangement of zeros and especially because they’re hexadecimal. that’s in addition to the way more elegant way the protocol itself handles various things. obviously not worth upgrading systems that don’t even need dhcp, but that applies to a lot of things in that field
you can if you make it mostly zero
i see. thanks for responding!
