like of course i know it’s part of their official party platform but holy shit. this wired article kills me. they can’t even negotiate during their CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS. they were in a group chat they jokingly called a union. then they immediately, about one message later (if i’m reading this right) fold on bullshit stipulations. like obviously i always knew they expected other people to be doormats to protect their comfort, but it’s really something that they can’t even help out someone else when it’s in their own interest to do so

it’s also relevant that the prominent marxist-leninist tiktok user madeline pendleton came out last year about being approached by the dnc over this. naturally, she was harassed, slandered, and suffered financial consequences from some of these same people. that’s all well and good but it’s really surprising to me that so many of the people who did it were not involved in the dark money thing. i guess because liberals are more interested in harassing communists than they are in their own material interests
