Yeah, if you can get your image to upload through the regular interface, it’s fine. This is mainly for files that simply will not upload through the regular interface because Lemmy’s built in uploader is terrible.

We do not restrict any communication to or from any instance. Only instance we block is threads.net due to huge privacy concerns. Any other federation issues are entirely done by other instances. We do not have any involvement or say in it.

I’d definitely choose the chef cat. While I do not personally have a use for it, my wife hates cooking, but is fine with cleaning up. This would probably be a great benefit to her! It’d also be cool to have a chef cat!

I find that people who use BTC treat it as an investment. People who use Monero use it as money.

I definitely like the idea of a micro-integrated CPU which would be just enough to keep the machine on. Maybe in a sleep like state where all the components are technically still running, but not enough to actually be put under any real load.

FANBOX was added weeks after the comment you are replying to. Their terms allow us to receive donations without the risk that going through PayPal and/or Stripe directly would place upon us.

I tried to look at it once but, much like you, I found it far too confusing and convoluted to do anything of value. I thought it was trying too much to be a cross between reddit and like a twitter/mastodon like blogging platform? I didn’t spend much time on there at all.

I assume you’re mining in a pool? If so, may I ask which one you’re using? Definitely not a small reward in my opinion, this would be of use to me, especially since I have servers and SBCs just sitting there doing nothing. Might be worth getting them setup.

Yes, .moe is fairly resistant to censorship, and I’ve never heard of a .moe being taken away, It’s probably happened before, but most likely due to exceptionally super obviously very illegal stuff.
