There are problems with the whole communities too. In some communities, In many cases I can only see (some not all) old posts that are at last few hours old, even though there are already newer ones. In most cases, I can find them on monero if I search for tehm with their official URL, but in some strange cases, it is not possible, and the post can’t be found through the Monero instance at all.

There is almost nothing wrong that can happen to you except malicious links and redirects, unencrypted registration forms and code injection into the browser. Only the last thing is a real risk, but not big. Malware that can be injected into the PC just through the web browser is rare. If you are really that scared, just watch films from this site in VM.
