Rosa Luxembourg, as any revolutionary from the late 1910s, was very aware of the core belief system of fascism. Proto-fascist groups such as the Black Hundreds in Russia were well known, and Italian/Nazi fascism doesn’t stray very far from the core of these people.

In Spain, the socialdemocrats and the anarchists allied in a broad coalition and the fascists won in the end, it’s just that they did a civil war instead of entering through the institutions.
