I think the best part of all this is… I wasn’t even really a reddit user. I am an orphan of bbses, forums, irc, discord, myspace, Orkut, etcetcetc. But I haven’t been on anything in two years. Not even Mastodon. But this tidal shift had me wondering where people are going so maybe I could dip my toes back in and out myself back out there. And maybe find interest and things to follow like bands and such that I miss from the bigger nets of old. I did occasionally browse reddit to find info or random posts about bands that I couldn’t find elsewhere these days.
