His financial acumen couldn’t hold a candle to the brilliance of even an average economics graduate. He has his name on some things but it seems like a lot of fraud, embezzlement, and borrowed money covered over with the thinnest veneer of “success”.

Yeah the perception that he’s somehow a brilliant money person is a sticky one.
