Has anyone ever purchased precious metals from Veldt Gold? They are listed on Monerica, but do not have a phone number to call and require a minimum of $1500 purchase to buy anything from them. That would be an expensive mistake if it were a scam, but I’d be more confident if I was able to read some reviews of this seller.
Yes, I placed several (bullion purchase) orders with Veldt about five years ago.
Every order arrived on time as expected. Even sent a holiday card to the delivery address in December thanking me for being a customer.
I’ll also add that there was some ambiguity (which has since been clarified) at the time in their AML policy, which was very new at the time. They handled the situation in an extremely professional way – they corrected the ambiguity and grandfathered my order, honoring it under the old policy since the new one used very confusing and ambiguous wording.
I was very impressed with this – any of the larger vendors would have simply said “too bad, we’re keeping the money and not shipping you anything until you jump through whatever hoops we’re in the mood for”.
