We are excited that Cake Wallet beta users can now store Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens, such as the USDT, USDC, and DAI stablecoins, directly in their wallet.

This is an important step forward for us. The Ethereum ecosystem is ever-evolving and growing. By adding support to Ethereum, Cake Wallet users now have access to a broad ecosystem of decentralized exchanges, NFT markets, tokens, and so much more.

    Great addition!

Will there be more EVM support in the future? I rarely use polygon and it would be awesome if I could do that in cake instead of metamask. In the future when there’s a proper, adopted zk rollup it would be awesome to send zk-eth to cake and swap it in the wallet via serai 😄

It’ll take a good amount of work, but yes, great idea.

Good news, would be great to have a trustworthy multi-coin wallet out there.
