They are both old. They are both “bad.” But only one is trying to be president. The other is trying to be a dictator. What’s worst, is that Trump has brainwashed all his supporters to live in an alternate reality. Hey look, CNN said Biden is old. Yes we know, that’s not news. I remember R’s complaining about Bidens age last time around because he was/is older. Cool, time passed and now Trump is that same age/older. Not a word from those same R’s. I wouldn’t want my grandparents running the country but somehow I HAVE to choose between someone else’s grandpa for president.
Yes they both suck but voting for the lesser evil does not work. If the Democratic party does not move more left or supply a more suitable candidate they will fail. Voting blue no matter who will just cause the Democratic party to move further and further right as far as they can because further right policies benefit the people that run the Democratic party and it’s sponsors.
OP is not someone bashing Biden so trump wins, they’re criticizing Biden because they know he’s part of a much greater problem

I’ve dealt with the “you’re a Russian bot”, “you’re a Trumper”, “you’re ____” whatever they’re mad at this week since 2015 election cycle. I’ll continue to shit on Biden because in my eyes, the reason things are shit right now. Do I want Trump to win? No. F Trump. Is it my fault if Biden loses? No. It’s the candidates job to earn voter trust and the votes. If one person on obscure Lemmy can “take down the president” then he was extremely flawed already.
