      A good read:

You don’t need anything but an Internet connection to use cock.li. If all you had was a library card you could use a public computer to get an e-mail account. It’s a strange thing to say about a joke website, but cock.li improves access to services for marginalized people globally, without connecting into some corporate system.

      etc.

Cock.li is a rather “relaxed” service. Don’t worry, you can register eventually, maybe tomorrow if not today.

The mail server itself is up (over onion), maybe a bit slower than usual (still 10 times faster than Proton).

Not very seriously managed. Not for business. But they don’t care a bit no matter how you use it (unless you do something really bad). POP over Tor? No problem. Want onion? Of course, why using clearnet when onion is there?

Yeah I managed to figure it out. If you do something wrong, like use a disallowed character in your email address, it just sends you to the nginx server’s 503 page without telling you what was wrong.

How long before I can give invites?

No invite is necessary to sign up, so you don’t need to give invites. There used to be INVITE menu item, but it’s gone.
