Or maybe it’s to keep you from sealing your drink and having it later. No cap means you finish it or dump it so you have to buy another.

I’ve never heard that take on it before (the idea of turning time into space), but it sounds fascinating. Do you have any links I could follow up on?
If he really works on it, I bet he can stay younger than Trump for the rest of his life.
Thelma
Indie movie about a grandma that gets scammed and fights back. Funny and cute. Really good if you like that stuff. Based on a true story.
The Wave (about a landslide in a fjord) is one of my favorite disaster movies.
The Quake (the sequel) is almost as good.
I have one. No crumple zone. No airbags. Slow acceleration. Can’t reach highway speeds. No headrest.
But it’s my favorite car ever. I just treat it like I’m riding a motorcycle. I’m dead in an accident, so I try to be hyper-aware.
I always thought the whole circles concept was genius, and it annoys me that nobody has tried to replicate it.
I’m on my phone away from my computer, so I don’t know the exact syntax, but I use a built-in kitten to set the font inside my .zshrc
It has its pros and cons, but it works well for me.
I always heard it as seagulls. Swoop in, make a bunch of noise, crap all over everything, then leave.
Holy cow, yes. I didn’t hate the movie, but it definitely was not what was presented in the trailer.
It does, but it’s a little obtuse to use.
radicle.xyz checks those boxes, but it’s gossip protocol, not activitypub.
Still cool, though.

Not sure how to post inline images. 🤷♂️
Happy to see this. I really wanted to like nostr, but for a long time all anyone would talk about was bitcoin/zaps. It got tiresome and boring real quick. I don’t want to have to use a bitcoin wallet just so that I can explore a new social economy idiom.
I feel like better XMR integration (and other coins, I guess), will help expand the whole micropayment/paid relay idea into something (hopefully) more fleshed out.
My only regret…
You dug deep for this one and we’re all better for it.
Found it, thanks! I also tried it in memmy, and I don’t think it’s there yet.
Is there a way to review what you’ve blocked and/or unblock a community?
I’ve looked and if it’s there, I can’t see it.
I was an every day redditor and an Apollo diehard, but after what reddit pulled on the 3rd party devs I didn’t want to support them at all. (Full disclosure, I probably wasn’t monetizeable to reddit since I was mainly a lurker, but I would have paid a subscription to keep Apollo around).
I worried that lemmy/kbin wouldn’t cut it, since the web ui feels kind of janky. But now I’m in the memmy beta and it’s amazing. I have zero desire to go back to reddit.
The future looks bright.
Romantically Apocalyptic sticks out in my mind.
