That was 1 whole episode of movie quality sakuga…
It’s been a while, so I’ve been looking up the character names mentioned…

This is really good!
The production values are better than expected for a comedy, and I honestly cried at the touching parts.
Prediction: While the Demon Lord’s power and violence won him a kingdom, it’ll be his daughter Doux’s kindness that keeps it together.

Two things bothered me this episode:
The other drivers are actually better than Kanata, because when he sticks his car’s nose in the tiniest gap around their rear bumper, there’s somehow no terrible accident, and both cars emerge unscathed.
Godly 15 indeed!
And the way Kanata drifts his car around, and comes from far behind to catch up, those tires must also be godly to maintain their grip and not get flat spotted.

I don’t know why I expected this to be anything other than a gag anime, but that’s what this is.
Unfortunately, the jokes, timing, and visual humor didn’t land for me.
The characters didn’t seem that interesting, and just did normal office things with offscreen torture and killing substituted for regular work.
The setting of a world where torture, killing presumably as a resultof torture, etc are legalized weren’t really explored
I don’t think I will be watching the next episode.
Good episode to round out the season!
The show’s paradigm of heroes and combatants as workers from different companies who have to work together is complete.

One of their own mines probably.

Picardo’s lookin’ stylish in that hat!

Great job at hitting fast moving targets, especially the one with some kind of jamming device!

That last guy who made an “X” with his arms: Is that a signal of surrender?

The re-releases sometimes come with improvements, such as the ability to save mid-game, or networked multiplayer, that would have been impossible with the original release, e.g. a standup arcade game.

I just watched the raw for Hokuto no Ken: Kenou-gun Zako-tachi no Banka.
It’s a parody of the exploding minions from Hokuto No Ken, in a short weekly format, like Ganglion, and it could really use some subtitles.
The animation is… moving manga stills in powerpoint style, but the voice acting is decent.
Hopefully some small group like le même can pick it up

Better late than never!

The study is saying it doesn’t matter what agricultural practices are used: Crop yields are going to decline significantly most areas due to changing temperatures and rainfall.
You can’t rotate crops, farm organically, or whatever out of “too hot and no rain”

Here’s my list from @[email protected]’s season schedule post
Looking at tracker data from this past weekend:
It looks like Kizoku Tensei is getting a lot of interest, even though it looks like standard isekai trash, and reviews are coming back with questionable production values.
Majutsushi Kunon wa Mieteiru is also getting slightly more interest and better reviews. The main characters, i.e. Kunon and the maid, seem to be enjoyable, and the show is funny, according to reviews.
Sentenced To Be A Hero/Yuusha-kei ni Shosu hit it out of the park with nearly double the already-successful numbers of the 2 shows above.

Maybe the powers the goddesses give out are personalized to the knight ?
She declares herself Goddess of Swords, so if the hero needed magical hats, they would be out of luck…
Re: Captain Xivia. That was kind of confusing to me. And she doesn’t seem incompetent per se. Plus she has main cast vibes.
Unwillingness to retreat is incompetence for a commander. She’s probably one of those better off as a fighter than a commander.
But it did sound like Xenias(?) at the Hero Command camp had different orders from whomever Xivia was taking orders from, so command confusion on the same side is entirely possible, especially with everyone except the heroes on medieval tech.

Lavishly drawn and animated, as others have said.
The computer animated knights and critters looked really good, and not too computer graphics-like.
The attempt to turn the “goddess blesses hero to victory” trope on its head is interesting, but feels a bit… labored?
I did love the corrupted enemies. They were cool and creepy looking.

Who knew there were so many frogs in a forest?
I could do with less angst from the protagonist though. I didn’t see any point to him waiting to charge in at the last minute instead of taking some proactive measures to fulfill his mission of preserving the human forces.
Good thing the goddess’ abilities matched well with his own. Imagine things wouldn’t have worked out so well if she was the goddess of magical hats or something.
The goddess’ attitude was well done, and I found myself liking her, despite telling myself that she’s probably programmed to be like this.
Captain Xivia probably killed as many of her own men than the enemy through her awful sense of command.
Overall I’d say the episode worked.

Not being familiar with this universe setting, it could be good but it feels pretentious.
There’s a lot of assumed knowledge about how the magic system works.

The new OP, Timeless Power by Yu Serizawa feat Motsu isn’t as much of a banger as last season 2’s Rock Me Kiss Me Baby

Oh HUR, you are such rascals!
The rules for the game aren’t confusing, but the goals of the larger plot are quite confusing…
It would seem quite easy for just about any sorcerer to kill 100 civilians to get 100 points.
Sorcerers themselves are a lot harder to kill, and therefore should be worth a lot more points.
Anyway, I’m not sure that any of it matters as long as more fighting is promised.
