I have a Secret Labs chair at home and at work. I am so very picky with chairs too. I have the Titan at home and the Omega at work. The Omega is just a bit too small, but I really like them both. Better than the $500 crap mesh back office chairs they got for everyone.

This is great. Thank you very much! I found a couple of “how to” elsewhere but they are so long and go into details I don’t need right now.
I watch Pluto TV once in a while. I think that’s a good solution for people who don’t have friends or family with a Plex-type media server.
I’m probably about average when it comes to tech stuff. I always feel dumb when I start looking into getting started with usenet, then get intimidated and quit researching. My torrent + vpn has failed me a couple of times in the past three years. So I really just need to make the leap. Just finding this community and reading through some of the posts has given me an initiative boost.
Yeah, I understand. Maybe I’ll get more confident. I’d feel better if I had my old phone to practice on first. Thanks!
they’ve fallen down to the likes of Roku.
What’s the beef with Roku? I’m all in on Roku at home. I even got a new TV with Web OS or Tizen recently, I don’t remember. I hated the OS and went out and bought a Roku Ultra LT for it. Have I just accepted or gotten used to the crap? Like the Netflix, Hulu, etc buttons on the remote or are there other problems?
It’s been happening lately on my S22 Ultra. Very annoying. If I didn’t think I’d brick my phone, I would root it. Well first I would figure out what rooting is… :\
I also have a ‘flat’ bowl. My cat isn’t happy with her food until I put some of her food on the floor and watch her eat for a couple of minutes. She is the boss… apparently.
Hey metal. I’m brand new to Lemmy and wanted to say what’s up?! I’m 58 and an old school metalhead who was stuck in the 80s / early 90s for the longest time. Mostly the classic heavy metal and Thrash. Mercyful Fate, old Big 4 thrash, Judas Priest, old Maiden, (up to Powerslave), Coroner and a few more. I recently discovered that I like Black Metal and Blackened Thrash. I love Immortal and Goatwhore. I listened to Immortal for the first time less than a year ago. Aside from them, I’m liking Melechesh, Rotting Christ, Wormwith. Then Angelis Apatrida and Injector for some newer Thrash and a shitton more in between. Like others, I’m really all over the place with most genres. I’m always looking to continue expanding my music and metal horizons.
Hello! I’m 58 from Missouri and I just signed up here tonight. I’m fairly techy. I remember connecting to various BBS while in school with my 24k modem on my Tandy 1000 from Radio Shack. But this is all a bit overwhelming and a little confusing. I’m committed to getting the hang of it all and ditching the other place. Picture of my dog that likes to sit on rocks.
