Was always a lurker on Reddit, now I’m an instance admin lol so I sort of have to comment and post often.

It feels way more a community on Lemmy though so I’m much more active than I ever was on Reddit I love it!

Hey yeh today has been wild there’s been a lot of signups and I’ve hit the rate limit for my email relay provider.

I’ve been sending out manual verification emails so will send one to you now

It’s really good and well made as well, put in a pull request today to add a feature and getting it setup locally as a dev was so easy!

I’m very tempted to self host it on my instance as well

Yeh that’s fairs, haven’t played seriously on FIFA for years now, only ever play when with some of my mates. Don’t get how people shell out >£50 each year for a game that is basically the same year on year

Hate it as I have a Steam Deck so I just wouldn’t play it if it needed an online connection as I play a lot when travelling.

Happened when I was away with some mates and we tried to play FIFA which needed an initial online connection to Origin. Was infuriating trying to get it work with bad mobile connection

Only thing I’ve missed about Reddit is googling stuff by adding Reddit on the end of it! Ironically most of the stuff has been around server stuff for my Lemmy instance

Sorry it took me a while to reply I’ve looked into this and I’m not sure what’s wrong, I’ve tried searching for feddit.uk instance on all the big instances and can’t find us.

Check nginx error logs and not found anything yet I’ll dig deeper into this later in the week as well as upgrade the server just in case it’s a load issue

Hi there, The current recommendation is mlem which is very basic and lacks quite a few features, I’m preferring to use the mobile site at the moment

Yeh I’m usually sick of hearing news about him but it’d be great to hear he’s off to jail, one can hope 🤞
