You had me until “veganism is a religion”
What the fuck dude, you’re comparing preachy vegans with actual police brutality. Kindly get the fuck out and think about what you said thank you
Yeah so apparently it’s a real picture taken quite some time ago that has been upscaled. It looks absolutely horrendous though and 100% fake, especially the parts you highlighted. I guess I’m not terminally online enough to recognize a repost or something, but weirdly enough I’m OK with that.
(B) No waste/by-products (e.g. filter, brewed coffee granules residue, blah blah) - so much less carbon footprint.
Not sure how you come to this conclusion. The waste is the same (if not more), just ends up somewhere else. Also, you’re adding a whole extra process (freeze drying) requiring extra energy, and water needs to be boiled twice (during brewing and at home).
Depth of field is an incredibly important tool for photographers? Not sure why you think they try to avoid it 99% of the time (apart from the fact that you literally can’t avoid it, but I’m assuming you mean shallow DoF).
Yep that’s why I don’t understand all those people with Kindles and huge Amazon book collections. They can literally take it all away on a whim. If I want to own a book I’ll purchase a physical copy, but ebooks? High seas for me. I feel like a ‘free’ ePub in my Dropbox is safer than whatever proprietary format in my Amazon account.
Edit - getting mostly replies defending ebooks and stating disadvantages of physical books (also, yeah I know books “aren’t for showing of” lol, like that’s the only reason for owning a book).
Just want to add I have both and get their pros and cons. I read tons on my ereader too, just not a Kindle because fuck that closed system, it’s not for me (for reasons mentioned above).
Are you memeing? I hate Adobe as much as the next guy but Inkscape is absolutely horrid compared to Illustrator or even Affinity.
If you’re getting Google results, you’re using Google lol
Lmao are you unironically saying you’re doing the right thing eating beef because you’re creating incentive to make you stop eating beef?
Yeah that’s the thing I’m pointing out dude
Read up on the climate effects of eating beef
Lmao why even specify cow milk, any milk is fine. You even mention how you prefer oat milk afterwards 🤯
If you’re not overly concerned with sugar content, try some flavoured milk. I bought some banana flavoured soymilk (Alpro I think) a while ago and put it in the fridge overnight with the oats, was amazing, didn’t even need any added fruits or whatever, though I did add some walnuts I had laying around (after the soaking in the fridge).
I tried overnight oats with yoghurt once and it failed miserably, the oats didn’t absorb anything. Tried it with some milk later and it was perfect.
Ah didn’t know that!
Perhaps try driving one?
Yeah sure I’ll go test drive a Tesla without any intention of owning one just to see how regen braking works, good idea. Not sure why you chose to be all passive aggressive suddenly. Also, engine braking on a motorcycle is generally going to be more aggressive than cars, that’s simple physics (mass, momentum etc). Not really comparable.
Last year? Dude there have been viable alternatives for years now.
Yeah the Y is proportionally all wrong haha, it looks like an overweight 3. The only Tesla I like is the S but still much prefer an i4, or even an EQE.
They’re not talking about that. The issue is that with the aggressive regen braking, those cars decelerate very quickly, way more quickly than an ICE would with engine breaking. The lack of brake lights therefore means lots of drivers are caught off guard when a Tesla starts coasting before them, which sometimes almost feels like they’re on their brakes.
How is Apple keeping iMessage an Apple exclusive anticompetitive? That’s like saying Google needs to share their search algorithms because they’re “leveraging their position in the search engine market to shore up their restrictive products.”
In the end, Apple created a service that is massively popular and makes people want to use their products. The fact that US teenagers refuse to use one of their many competitors is hardly their fault. The rest of the world doesn’t give a shit about iMessage either.
