I disagree. Its deliberately inflammatory and offensive. I only leave the post here as responses such as this one have value.

Definitely, I understand some people would not want this.
The largest table holds data that is only needed by Lemmy briefly. There is a scheduled job to clear it… Every 6 months. There are active discussions on how best to handle this.
On my instance I’ve set a cronjob to delete everything but the most recent 100k rows of that table every hour.
Not sure how I should feel that the bubble I live in seems far more accepting and empathy towards asylum seekers.
I don’t think the people I live/work/socialise with are particularly extreme… but according to this we’re collectively not representative of wider Australian views.
I choose to believe their sampling was flawed and somehow only sampled the worst of us.
