I mean, I actually believe him. He’s using the pardon power as a racket, you pay him a few million and you get a pardon, he doesn’t care who it is or what they did.

That’s how I read it first time, I don’t see how it’s misleading. I think everyone knows that Windows isn’t ready for the desktop.

Well yeah, that makes it business friendly. No corporation likes to be tied up in court for ages. Texas has just been trying to pass Delaware in a race to bottom of which state is the most business friendly (and thus anti-consumer, anti-environment, etc).

Tesla was incorporated in Delaware, like many other US corporations.
Obviously nothing changed physically, this is just a paperwork thing.

That’s why he moved the companies to Texas from Delaware, because even though Delaware is ridiculously business friendly, they’ll actually defend shareholders’ rights there.
Distinction without a difference. If you’re wearing the space diaper you’re basically experiencing everything there is to experience about space.

Said the guy whose previous job was to prop up Cameron’s conservative government?

Yeah, I’ve never had one of those fail on me, I didn’t know this was a thing people struggled with. I do make sure to not get the super cheapest brand, it’s something in between.
My biggest frustration is that they never really have the exact combination of ports that I’m looking for.

BYDs have already surpassed Tesla’s in quality and sales in markets where there’s no tariff barrier. They’re not competing, they’re dominating.

No mention by the DOJ that this is obviously all part of an attempt to bribe the President, because corruption is legal in the US.

If you ever used notepad++ on windows, it’s sort of like that. Uses the same engine, but has different features.

I use it, it’s fine for stuff you’d use notepad for. For coding I use a full IDE tho.

I mean, they ran through a bunch of terror laws based on the explosive caravan hoax, and nobody’s talking about repealing those despite that.
For the child care stuff, the only things that I’ve heard that make sense are exchanging information between states so someone can’t just hop over the border to continue working with children (something proposed a decade ago after a previous royal commission), and having 2 pairs of eyes on the kids at any time. Everything else seems counterproductive.
As for improving the working with children checks themselves, I guess we need to wait and see how this guy managed to get one, if there were previous complaints, etc.

Let them have chatGPT credits.

There’s also the thing where the US will turn on your country if you ever try to be more independent. NATO isn’t just a defence agreement, it’s a subsidy to the US defence industry. It’s the only explanation for countries willingly signing up to the F-35 programme.

I’m sure they can do it stuff to make your life difficult until they get paid, however.
Yeah, given the moment in the US, wearing a mask is just the prudent thing to do. The government’s own agents are doing it.

I find it’s decent for low stakes programming questions, and that’s mostly because I can easily validate correctness just by running the code (because often it’ll get it wrong initially and you need to go back to the conversation to fix the issue or just fix it yourself).
How people use it to deal with mental health or relationship issues boggles my mind tho.

Defunding the police is actually popular as long as you don’t call it ‘defunding the police’.
Some people are still used to 100% windows at work and take that home, I guess.
