  • The poke forward is an issue when flaccid, not erect. I’m a grower vs a shower though. I have a small cherry keeper cage (my aforementioned #1 cage–although it’s not perfect for me). I got the same headlock size for the headless cage that I have for my small cage. Before I rule the headless cage out in theory as a cage fit for long-term wear, I’d like to try a smaller headlock. I haven’t yet investigated this enough, but I’m concerned there might be untenable rub of the headlock against the glans that’d cause irritation prohibiting long-term wear (again, not while erect, just while going about daily wear). With the caveats laid out, I tend to see it as more of a for show/ play/ sex/ masturbation cage for now, as opposed to one suited for long-term wear, but I have more research to do.

Thanks for the update, I appreciate it :D (I’m not on reddit). Yeah, overall that sounds positive!

  • If it’s any consolation, I wrote my review at the peak of the novelty of my headless cage. Two weeks after receiving it, a ‘regular’ cage is still my #1 cage by far. With the headless one, the penis could poke forward, and peeing often required lifting the glans/head a bit with 2 fingers to avoid urine stream on the balls. I’d love to be locked daily except for sleep and exercise (as a step towards maybe truly permalocked one day), and I’m trying to build up to it with a ‘regular’ cage one atm. I hope we see JosieLynn back again soon!

  • Ah yes, ring chafing. I put lotion/lube around the ring after I’ve got the cage on. I haven’t bought any special products for this, I just use what I have around the house. One improvement I’ve found recently is a dual-layer method. I have a thick body butter (ie, dense cream) that’s my go-to and that I apply first, but I will sometimes put a water-based lube layer on top of that. I have yet to try to use sandpaper to further smoothen the plastic ring (that’s already pretty smooth from wear). And metals cages are probably better than plastic in terms of chafing.

I succeeded to come on the first attempt with the exposed head and vibrator. I think it was easier than using a vibrator without wearing any cage because the cage is a turn-on for me and the head and frenulum (ie, targets) are conveniently held in place
