This entire argument assumes no one does anything other than vote
congrats on being the millionth person in this thread including the original artist to not know that words can have one meaning in a scientific context and another different meaning in a culinary context
here’s some more that will blow your mind, peanuts aren’t nuts, peanut butter isn’t butter, starfish aren’t fish, wow much learn
The other side of this coin is that the banana is the largest herb; the banana tree is the tallest plant that doesn’t produce wood
Of course mixing up culinary and botany meanings deliberately is dumb and leads to people saying things like “a tomato is a fruit” and “a strawberry isn’t a berry” those people can go produce their own wood if you know what I mean

Wow a mod on a sanctimonious power trip. What is this, reddit?

Without trying to read the comments or understand context in any way because internet drama is super boring…
if everywhere you go smells like shit, maybe it’s time to check your shoe
He only did those things because Vietnam was going so poorly so don’t give him too much credit.

These are starting to feel like those headlines “this is finally the last straw for Trump!” I’ve been seeing since 2015

When I was younger and TNG was coming out, I thought “oh wow this is so cool, every 20 years we go another 100 years into the future of Star Trek!” And here we are almost 40 years later, still rehashing the same characters from the same eras over and over. The only breath of fresh air is the last bit of Discovery and Starfleet Academy. Give me a flagship show set in the 26th century or a show about the Temporal Cold War. Something new!

Turns out no one knew that some of the plants he was eating were poisonous until after he died
I have been rewiring a historic house as part of a major restoration (I have an electrical background and know NEC like the back of my hand, don’t @ me) and I would 100% rewire all my neighbors’ houses for free if I didn’t need my day job at the cubicle farm for healthcare and not starving to death
Oh yes, “trees of the same species” is the key piece of missing information in the meme
Has no one ever been in a forest before? Trees 100% grow all up into each other all the time. They compete for sunlight and try to choke each other out by design. These pictures honestly don’t look real
One of my favorite subreddits back when posting photoshopped pictures of birds with arms was all the rage was /r/notbirdswitharms which was a sub where you couldn’t not just post birds with arms, you couldn’t post anything that wasn’t a sandwich

If you pay them they’ll publish anything. Half the stuff on Spectrum is sponsored content or barely disguised ads now
Makes me think the account is satire, knowing nothing else about it outside this thread
