1·10 days agoWhat? What does this have to do with anything?
A photo shop is what you used to take your film or pictures to to be enlarged or touched up. This process became known as photo-shopping and the software was named after this. This is according to my artist grandma who died recently and my graphic design professor years ago.
Photoshop the software is named after photoshopping and not the other way around.

33·11 days agoStill seems disingenuous in the context of the article linked. Like those “assembled in USA” stickers. Technically correct but also misleading and mostly missing the point.

1720·11 days agoAlso no mention of crash test ratings. Which is likely the real reason we won’t see it here, and even if we did it would never be for that price because that price is subsidized by the Chinese government.
Edit: Why do so many people think pointing out that some Chinese EVs have been through crash test ratings refute that this article doesn’t mention them?
Also, please note that all the ones that have good ratings aren’t being sold for $22k.
There is a difference though and one didn’t go away just because the other exists.

I haven’t had to pay extra yet, but I am anticipating that being a thing soon. But I do have to drive further to get to a bank that still has a notary.
My bank recently switched all of its tellers with a row of ATMs inside the bank. I think this is kind of what they’re talking about.
