If not touched the photon goes through both slits and interacts with itself, which is still super weird. Basically, it’s a wave if not touched, but a particle if touched.

Yeah, I’ve played it using my Oculus Quest 1, too. It is the most game-like VR game, as opposed to most VR games that are more mini-games. But I’ve definitely spent more time in those mini-games than Alyx.
In addition to everything said, I’m pretty sure it was Oculus and John Carmack who did most of the work on getting VR to where it is.

3·9 days agoYou are free to support or not support whoever you see fit. If supporting Linux is hard requirement for you, so be it. But in my personal opinion, they do deserve support, in the very least because they sell most of their games DRM-free, giving consumer the ability to keep their games forever.

181·9 days agoThey do the good that they do. Is there a minimal amount of good one must do to be promoted from “fair-weather friend”? GOG is not a behemoth like Valve, they have to pick their fights more carefully. Also, they are preserving the games for the vast majority of people, on the platform those games were designed for. And since Proton/Wine progress is going well, the games are by extension preserved on other OSes.

As a semi-middle eastern person who grew up with access to real Turkish cuisine, seeing German/European style döner makes cry. Not only they dare to put lettuce/cabbage in it at all, it’s like 60% of the content. It took me years to find proper döner in Poland, but now I finally know 2 places.

According to Dave2D’s review, RAM is upgradeable, and GPU has dedicated VRAM.
Dave2D mentioned that Valve said it isn’t aiming to directly compete with consoles, but rather sff PCs. So the price will likely be in the $700-900 range(?)
Can somebody please briefly explain, what is Piefed, how’s it different(?) from Lemmy, and why a lot of big posters moved to there?
Shouldn’t it be “lie around”?

3·3 months agoIn case you didn’t catch the joke, Unfabulous is a Nickelodeon TV show from 2000s, starring Emma Roberts. It’s how she became “famous”. IMO, the show was a bad, and her acting was bad.

Huh. Well, to be fair it’s been a while since I played it…
Hmm… I don’t remember that being in the original.
