I’ve only seen that as speculation. They didn’t announce anything at WWDC.
That tier doesn’t.
It’s just weird that the “Console” tier doesn’t seem to include multiplayer. What the hell is the point of the tier, then?
I’ve never heard this. I’m pretty sure the internet has decided otherwise.
I’m 39. Stop scaring me.
Your fetish is safe between you and your admin.
Certainly hope you’re not getting the impression that I’m speaking in favor of China. I’m more in favor of equal outrage over invasions of privacy from all parties, foreign and domestic.
Every single month with my mortgage provider. Drives me nuts to be so mildly inconvenienced
I’d rather just not be spied on lol
I was using Ivory for a while, but now I’ve starting using Woolly and I like it. The nested replies section is really nice.
Mammoth is great for a free app, but the UI still needs polish.
We should be saying both are bad. We need much stronger, EU like privacy laws.
There’d be nothing for the top box.
Yeah trucks for shipping would still be a necessity.
I live in NYC and am a huge fan of the potential electric bikes and, more so here because of living space constraints, electric scooters bring to the table. The problem we have here is that, in the congested areas, the battle to build more bike lanes is being met with resistance and, even when they get built, the lanes are often unprotected and fully exposed to traffic. In manhattan, the city could literally survive with no cars. The mass transit system is excellent and scooters and bikes could do the rest.
I, personally, do not want to be defederated from Threads. I want to follow some of the key news orgs and political figures who haven’t made the move over to Mastodon. For me, it can be the best of both worlds. I can get the content I want and maintain the level of privacy that I want.
This is where the Fediverse gets tested. Without a big corporate budget to bring extra servers online on a whim, balancing load during rushes is going to be difficult.
Then again, Reddit servers went down a lot and they’re big and corporate.
Hard to harvest karma when it’s not a thing here.
I’m off Reddit fully but I don’t think it’ll be an implosion. With a few other apps striking deals, some will switch to those while others will stick with the main. I think mostly OGs and people more comfortable with tech are the ones who made the switch.
They were the last to do this. Can’t even be mad about it.
