I hope the Splinter Cell remake wasn’t part of this, it was looking extremely promising. As far as I know, beyond MGS: D, we didn’t have a lot of “AAA” stealth games last year.

For me it was when I was in another planet, doing some kind of progress, and then boom. When I spent most of my time just getting to, and landing on, the planet, just to get “blipped” again 5 minutes into solving a puzzle, was frustrating.

And, to me, it seemed like it happened at random. Trying to stay with the “playing blind” idea, I didn’t look into the actual timing of the booms. It was a constant dread when I was doing something, thinking it may pop at any time.

I also went into the game blind, but the anxiety inducing loop I did not enjoy at all. I may give it another try some day.

Just finished Dispatch, my 3rd clear of Clover Pit, and I’ve almost beat all the stages with all of the characters in BallXPit.

Looking forward to buying Time Snatcher Handy (I beat the demo twice during NextFest) this week, and I’m still hopping on Remnant 2 at least once a week.

I used to love Lumines on the PSP but Lumines Arise is just not clicking with me, which sucks. I also finally started MGS 3: Delta after sitting on it over a month.

Edit: I just realized this is Patient Gamers and almost all games I mentioned are recent (except Remnant 2). Highly recommend all of them though!

BallXPit, Absolum, Shape of Dreams. All three have come out in the last two months or so, all of them have been great, especially BallXPit.

Weebl’s Stuff was known for having so many earwig songs, one of my favorites was Magical Trevor.

They probably would have gone with iSUV but it’s too close to ISIS to be safe.

I have a 4 year old laptop with a “gaming” card in it. Generally speaking if a game is Steam Deck verified it will run it no problem. I like using that as a benchmark.

Then they started doing shady shit when you didn’t hit skip and start a 20-45 minute paid advertisement for something unrelated.

That really cooked it for me: my hands were busy or I was in another room and now there’s some dillhole on the screen shilling drain cleaner for an hour.

Don’t forget the dicks out for Harambe episode, I’m surprised that one aired.

I don’t want to give up an email to read the article, but from what I could read the company is making money from the state and is reducing the workforce trying to replace them with AI.

As usual, it’s failing spectacularly.
