Lol most of the US is physically and mentally unfit for service thanks to our garbage system. Out of those who are capable few have any motivation to fight for this country. The amount of people who are going to defect or get sent to jail for draft dodging is gonna be huge. Honestly it would probably take more military members to enforce a draft then actually useful soldiers they’d get out of it.

I mean, days of the year is fine as is because that matches seasonal cycles which is important for agriculture and the like. Ofcourse along the equator lunar calenders were historically used because they don’t have different seasons but a calender used by everyone keeps things consistent for trade and the agricultural trade is still one of the most important things for humanity so it best remains a solar calendar.

As for time, 60 and 24 and in general multiples of 12 are great units because they can be easily divisible in many ways. This is why they were established as such in the first place, because Babylon had a big thing for what is called “extremely composite numbers” which are basically just a number that has more factors than any previous and equal to all subsequent ones (until the next extremely composite number) and all multiples of 12 (as far as I know) fall into this category. This means that units that are multiples of 12 both easily divide into each other (making it useful for changing between units) and easily divide into many other numbers making it easier to schedule a day as you have nice clean boundaries.

It really did, at least their paper did. Every article was “We must stop the rise of fascism and Biden will do just that!”. On r/cpusa they post like every article that party pushes and it was pure Biden simping. Most pro union president and shit. My view of the party comes from its publications (as its still not really impactful in terms of actions, at least not in my area as its so tiny) and it was pure liberal nonsense. “Voting is a revolutionary act!” Sounding stuff (yes, an article said that).

CPUSA did simp pretty hard for Biden during 2020 though. They, just like every liberal outlet, painted him as some savior of democracy against fascism. When in truth, Biden is just a quieter fascism. Hell, their subreddit was one of the most libshit places I’d ever been. Ended up getting banned after getting into an argument with a mod about if voting is revolutionary (they claimed it was!).
