This is a situation where I see a community leaving an instance with bad moderation.
I don’t like .world but it’s the best instance I’ve found so far

When you ban everyone who disageees, then it appears like the community is doing well.
Either you have global moderation rules or communities will leave the instances with bad and inconsistent mods
14·2 months agoI’ve noticed mods of some instances will lurk and ban users for comments that weren’t even on their instance.
Some of the mods on blahaj do that while using fake user accounts to sow approval.
It’s insane what patheticly small amount of power internet janitors will manage to trip on
I got banned there last week for saying that lemmy mods are just as pathetic and banhappy as reddit mods

Alt left wants to violently overthrow the tyrants preventing us from having viable public services and having a fair society.
Alt right wants an ethnostate.
Alt right spends hundreds of millions a year astroturfing social media to convince people that authoritarianism isn’t an inherently right wing ideology.
Nothing will meaningfully improve until the rich fear for their lives
