Could be fun! I’ve been enjoying the original on my Analogue Pocket. I’m glad the kept the horrifying portraits lol… They’re endearing.

I wonder if this also coincides with back-to-school with students getting their new laptops during the summer running Windows, as well as class software requirements requiring Windows. Lots of those students are definitely loading up steam on their laptop for the first time, adding more windows players, but not lowering the number of Linux players. Also everyone gets it - windows bad, Linux and gnu alternatives good, but for uni courses it’s best to save the headache and just run windows for the software that needs it.
I kind of disagree. I think Our Love To Admire and El Pintor are much more solid albums with better songs and better construction that better contend for their best. They hit the highs of TOTBL, and then some - my personal favorites are Heinrich Maneuver, Anywhere, and Everything is wrong.
That being said, that doesn’t keep TOTBL from being one of their best - it really captures that feeling of pre-9/11 indie rock with songs that are really gripping. If anything, I would say that the 10th anniversary edition of TOTBL is the best version of that album that includes their EP and demo material for the band that shows that the album wasn’t just their first album, it was an entire era for the band through the material they released around that album.
MGMT is another good one! First album was amazing, 2nd one was really good, everything else is meh except Little Dark Age (just the song).
A little different, but I do a lot of random 3D printing related stuff on my computer including CAD. I got one of those small ultra wide monitors meant for a raspberry pi, and put it under my main monitor. I run rain meter widgets on it for time, media control, etc. I also throw videos and stuff on there for while I’m working. It’s been pretty sweet! I can use solidworks on top, and have a little video working on the bottom, and have a clock easily visible for time management.
Oh no… This reminds me of that infamous r/atheism post.
There’s also Matamoros… Which is Moor killer :/
Hey! It’s Eric Migicovski, the Pebble watch guy! Love my Pebble watches, they’re really utilitarian, definitely down for a good small phone.
Oh no! That’s horrible! But where is it? So that I can avoid downloading it?
