Maybe this is why he was fired.

I drive an ID.4, and I always feel like I am just a little short on space. My wife has an older Ford Escape hybrid, and it’s just a little bigger, maybe a foot longer, and it holds things like Christmas trees, bed frames, etc, better with the seats down than I do. And the number of times I’ve felt like I was just a few inches too narrow to really pack the car with totes for camping, etc, is frustrating.
I’ve always had an SUV. I dont think I would function in my everyday life the way I do now with a smaller vehicle. I fill the back seat with the seats down full of packages pretty regularly. I love the car but different strokes for different folks.
It’s a commercial vehicle that requires a special license to drive legally. It’s a good instinct to be terrified to drive it if you don’t have a CDL.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who immediately thought, “AI hillbilly.”
When picking a mind to emulate, it is just practical to start simple.
Is Jewish Elder a title, or are these just old jews putting on airs?
I agree entirely. 👍
Chevy Bolt EV is $26.5k MSRP. Every dealer around me has it listed at $30k+
I don’t know why the first example you give is a $70k car unless you were trying to push a narrative.
I stick to my belief that the dealerships are tanking the sales due to incompetence, on top of the inflation driving down sales for all cars ICE or EV right now.
No. I disagree on both examples.
Edit: And I don’t see how Germans asking Germany for a ceasefire is an argument against my statement.
I think we, as a people, should stop demanding ceasefires when we aren’t actually in the conflict. It’s all just virtue signaling. The counties actually fighting can be the ones asking for it since it would actually be them having to follow through.
We aren’t doing a genocide in Palestine… feels kinda wrong to diminish the meaning to include people not actually committing the violence while a large portion of their population protests any support the country gets.
It was slow, but I remember a major crack occurring watching Stephen Fry being interviewed when he paraphrased David Hume, paraphrasing Epicurus.
If God is unable to prevent evil, then he is not all-powerful. If God is not willing to prevent evil, then he is not all-good
Things start to fall apart from there. All the other Bible stuff can be explained away as being recorded by imperfect beings, but the core notion of a good God worthy of worship ends with the trilemma.
I think this is some 4d chess shit where they realize they can get a bunch of people to void their warranty on their vehicle by making easily bypassable paid service locks in vehicles.
The only way to stop this is with regulations.
Why bother? You’ve made up your mind. I’ve made up mine. I’ve literally never met anyone with your opinions besides the internet.
I think “many” is an exaggeration.
And your WHO reference is actually factually incorrect. The truth is they say it is beneficial.
FGM is not typically done electively and offers no benefit to women. It’s something done to them for the sake of men or as a punishment.
Male circumcision is done for religious or health reasons, with the motivation to be for the benefit of the male it’s being done to.
If I were a woman who had undergone FGM I would slap the shit out of any man referring to a circumcision in this manner. It’s just so detached from reality and insulting.
It’s a baller move. It probably annoys the person at the customer service counter in the moment, but I respect it.
This really is it. I managed a grocery store for years, and the problem these companies have is thinking that the self checkout can replace too many cashiers. Note that it can take the place of 1 or 2, but really, the boon of the self checkout is to really function as the best express lane ever. It should take the heat off your normal cashiers and provide an option best suited for quick purchases under 10 items.
But what ends up happening is schedulers drop their usual front end down from 4 cashiers to 1 and a self checkout host and completely nullify any gains their customers would have gotten from the enhanced service options. People really do like self checkouts but resent the hell out of being forced to use them as a blatant cash grab.
I have them both running. The only thing Plex does better for me is remote access. Everything else like UI features, collections, series identication, and CPU usage has been simpler and better looking on Jellyfin.
