I never played Spyro growing up, so I don’t have the nostalgia boner for it, but my partner did. Watching them play it was infuriating. The difficulty in the first three games is based entirely on the controls being dogshit.

They’re still making dead cells. And if they ever stop, a bundle with all the dlc would be welcome.
I think the re2+3 remakes are great games, but I don’t think they’re better than the originals. 3 especially felt really cut and dumbed down compared to it’s source. I think I put 40 hours into the original story, and beat the remake in about 6.
I would have said dead space until the remake came out and blew me away. So if the devs really care about it no game is untouchable to me. You can always play the original.
Inscryption. First person puzzle horror/card battle game. It’s one of the coolest games out there, and I detest card battle games.
Nier atomata. Hack and slash RPG/bullet hell. Wild story, fun gameplay, feels a little like kingdom hearts but more serious.
Hunt:showdown. First person survival horror/Battle Royale/intense shooter. Probably my favorite co op and has a killer aesthetic. Historical guns are fun to play with as well.
And if you’re that type, we’ve already found the answer you wanted in the first place.
If you read the above comments, we’re talking about blocking specific games. Your low score is not hivemind, you just missed the context of the thread .
Steam is all or nothing, and if you block everything, some games won’t allow you to invite friends or join games, and it’s not just a switch to flip to turn back on for multiplayer. You have to go through several menus to change your settings. We’ve been asking for the ability to block specific games or just turn off participation in the feed for ages.
Also unlike Reddit, your points aren’t tracked and mean nothing here ,so there’s no point in worrying about downvotes.
People have been asking for ten years. I don’t know why they refuse to let you customize privacy.
If you want a great Metroidvania, check out axiom verge. It’s got really cool mechanics and world design.
For more action oriented, I could play dead cells for the rest of my life.
I’ve read this three times and still honestly have no idea what you’re saying and how it applies to the question.
That is helpful, thanks mate.
I’m very critical of comedy, so it’s rare to find a show I like, but some of my favorites are:
Flight of the Conchords
The mighty boosh
Parks and rec
Taskmaster
Arrested development
Seinfeld
Louis
Some dude just dunking a pissed off squirrel in a five gallon bucket and hucking it as hard as he can.
If you like naissance, check out kairo. One of the first games I got on steam, and I found naissance looking for something like it.
Some good stuff on there. I’m still playing outer worlds from last month.
Baba is you: a simple block pushing puzzle game where you make the rules by lining up words. It’s not like anything else.
Iron lung: a short horror game about navigating a submarine blind
Dollhouse: a flim noir styled avoid the pursuer type horror game, with eack level adding new mechanics. One of the most interesting games I’ve played, but it got lost to a ten year hype train and never recovered from the initial review bombing.
Jazzpunk: hard to describe. An first person puzzle game where the whole game is a joke and every aspect is unexpected.
Papers please: run a Soviet bloc security check point, and try to keep your family alive with the small amount of supplies you receive for filtering citizen correctly. Same guy who made obra dinn.
Receiver 2: at the surface it’s an fps with insane gun mechanics. Deeper though, it’s forced meditation and mindfulness. Nothing you do can be reactionary or automatic, every movement must be on purpose. Lots of mental health themes.
Many others already mentioned here are great. Obra dinn, doki doki, antichamber, outer worlds. There’s a ton of great things out there.
The ending of metal gear solid three hurt me pretty good.
Szymanski always kills it. Looking forward to this one
I liked jerboa, but I had so many issues I ended up switching to liftoff. I couldn’t change my account settings, could rarely post comments, and could never start a thread. Looking at their git, other people had the same issues for weeks with no real fix, so I jumped to liftoff, which isn’t perfect, but at least everything works. I want something as close to baconreader as possible.
That’s not wrong then. 4 times is more than double.
