Something certainly feels off and when looking at the data, it’s seems to throw some red flags. I’m going to toss these here because trying to rehash everything on this thread isn’t helpful.

Feel like I’m being a conspiracy theorist here, but I feel it’s better to at least say something or draw attention to it. Since I do data analytics, I’ll be running the numbers myself if I can.
Or maybe its the leftist that Faux news conjured up for him?
We shouldn’t even entertain the idea of third terms. It’s starts normalizing it.
That’s my line of thinking, but republican fuckery has no limits.
Oh, it’s even worse. He’s talked about reversing the forgiveness. Not sure how they plan to do that, but we can’t trust the law to be on our side once the Republicans start making shit laws. Better hope for a Democratic house, but I’m not holding my breath.
Seems to me that an election involving a candidate that is inelligble should result in disqualification. The election should have never proceeded with him as a candidate. Can’t be overturning an election if the election was invalid to start with.
I think they meant the convicted felon and pedophile Donald Trump. Surely it couldn’t be the same guy.
That’s a legit insult to Forrest Gump. She’s a corrupt judge in the pockets of the GOP and needs to be removed.
You’re giving him way too much credit. Never attribute to malice what can be explained by stupidity. While Trump has certainly performed acts out of malice, he is also the epitome of stupidity. He’s suggested nuking hurricanes, injecting bleach, and has stared straight into the sun during a solar eclipse, etc, etc. He’s a terrible person of course, but he’s also a complete moron.
He doesn’t understand the nuances of making policy decisions, so his default answer to stuff like this is to just impose tariffs because that’s all he knows. He doesn’t care to understand and would likely eat the crayons you use if you were to try to explain it to him. He’s just incapable of that sort of mental growth.
These aren’t full metal buttons. They’re a hybrid resin and aluminum or copper mix. So less of an issue if it was a full metal button. You can customize it through polishing it desired, e.g., a brushed look, fully polished, raw (as it comes packaged). And yes, your finger oils will add to the end result as well.
Didn’t she just release economic plans recently about stopping price gouging?
Well, in Trumps case, it actually makes sense given the gross mishandling of the pandemic just to try and improve his election chances. These shit headlines are getting old.
Something something unity, right? Republicans are hypocritical yet predictable sacks of shit.
This is just disturbing. These people need psychological help.
I’m torn on this one. Obviously, the victims deserve to get payment and whatnot, but the other half of this is that the bankruptcy court agreement with the Sackler family would prevent them from future liability for similar cases. Supreme Court is saying the bankruptcy court didn’t have the power to grant that, which, if excluded, would open the Sacklers to future lawsuits. I’m all for that family getting sued into oblivion, but we can’t trust the Supreme Court to do what’s right either. We have to treat everything they do with suspicion. This comes on the heels of the ruling of ‘bribery is now basically legal’, so it makes me wonder how much the Sackler family is paying them.
He’s probably spying for Putin.
And/or give them cause to not turn over the POW’s since they are already ‘dead’. Hopefully more details will emerge that paint a better picture. No matter the case though, if the POW’s are still alive, then this certainly seals their fate anyway as Russia isn’t going to turn around and hand them over after all this.
Yes and no. When I got my OLED is was so light but after a JSAUX modcase, it sort of lost that feeling. That said, I’m all for protecting my devices and I have a toddler, so that’s me.
When I purchased the original Deck, I had it sitting on my desk in my garage with some headphones plugged in and my dog, who was under the desk, got up and bumped the cable with her head. The cable startled her, causing her to panic and jolt, catching the cable around her torso, and yanking the Steam deck off the desk. Dog is now in a panic as the flying Steam Deck crashes into the cement floor behind her, bouncing and skittering across the ground about 6ft or so until it came to a rest. Now, all of this happened in llike 2 seconds, so there wasn’t much I could do. It was basically new out of the box, but it took that incident without issue. That was a a few scrapes along the back/side, but no damage to anything else. Has run fine since.
All that to say that it’s tanky in its own right, but your mileage may vary. I lucked out I think, but even a case won’t save the screen from an ill placed drop onto a rock or something like that.
Regarding your points:
That would be a difficult discussion, yes, but the difference between now and then is that there are red flags that should, at the least, warrant a recount. Unlike 2020, we’re not saying it’s rigged, but rather that a recount is needed to validate and verify.
The same way you would try to prove anything else like this, you put facts out in front of people, bring in experts, and attempt to bring the truth to light. If there was something nefarious uncovered then we present it, otherwise it shows that things are working correctly.
Yes and no. It means that tabulation machines are manipulatable and that we need improved security there. Hand counting ballots is still secure as the red flag here is a digitally inflated count, which is what a physical recount would prove or disprove.
You didn’t read the letter, or at least didn’t understand it. They’re not talking about fradulent physical ballots. There’s no reason for anybody to be looking at them for multiple reasons. Secondly, the letter states that swing states are the ones specifically that need to be looked at.
5/6. We know that a good portion of the population that is eligible to vote doesn’t. We also have historical data that gives us the averages for when voters only vote for the president and nothing else. That range is 2-5%. Seeing that number jump above 10% is eye catching and can be indication that something is wrong. So again, it’s not a claim that things are rigged, but a warning that the numbers indicate that they need to be looked at closer and be recounted to ensure they are correct.
Claiming out elections are secure and ignoring something like this just allows the GOP to continue to use it. If they get away with it this time and are the ones in power, how is anyone supposed to prevent them from doing it again? The whole reason were having to deal with the idea of rigged elections is because the GOP and Trump decided fuck up that system our trust and replace it with fear and lies.
On the last point, these claims do have a basis in reality looking at the data. The math shows a departure from historic norms, which calls it question how accurate the counts are. Asking for a recount is not a problem, but saying and doing nothing when it looks like something is wrong is a problem.
