Snark is a valid kind of response to trolls, even to well intentioned naive libs. Even when we can see some open minded libs showing gratitude to some of our comrades who patiently explaining things to them. This good cop bad cop tatics is much more useful than being overtly nice. They have to understand that liberal ideology is not the norm nor natural, it is something that will be protested and push backed. Only then the cool headed explanation will penetrate.
