34·1 month agoNot all AI code is so obvious though. Especially if you give it detailed instructions on what to do exactly. It could be very hard to tell in some cases
The problem is the large companies like Amazon buy all the small ones and put these people in charge lol

19·2 months agoWe had some super old code in our company monorepo that was written by someone who became the CTO, there was a comment forbidding people from writing private methods in the code base because “we aren’t babies”. It explained so much about the awful code and why everything was crazy.

2·2 months agoIt’s funny because I learned to program with strongly types languages and when I moved over to JavaScript I always complained about it for the longest time but now that I use mostly typescript at work I kind of miss some of the old JavaScript patterns and their flexibility. But for working with large teams or large projects in general it’s nice to have typescript

Apple is pretty shitty at design though especially for a company so renowned for design haha.
I have a bunch of mini Linux computers too and they have mostly normal buttons but they are tiny. Probably too tiny for toes.
They should see the wizard!
