8 months agoIt drives a wedge between the working class and allows Mexicans to be exploited for slave labor in agricultural work under the threat of deportation of them and their families. It also gives a ton of false excuses for the failures of capitalism, I remember recently Musk has been pushing the whole “Illegals are taking all the affordable housing” thing.
