It doesn’t have a headphone jack (reason why I didn’t get one)
Nokia G22 or G42 5G. Reason, price, pure android, easily repairable and easily replacable battery.
yeah it does make zero sense, shows that they neither understood PDFs nor Tumblr
Tumblr is kinda back imo. But the main reason for it’s death was also that the company that bought tumblr back then thought it would be the new PDF…yes you heard me right… https://qz.com/708295/yahoos-grand-plan-for-tumblr-was-to-turn-it-into-the-next-generation-pdf
Is it even legal for news media to misquote someone, especially an elected official?
Same, I never quite got into mastodon (then again I rarely used twitter as well) but this one feels like the first fediverse thing I really love using
A card game and a table top roleplaying game
Playing board games. I am designing some myself and so I bought some games that where similar that I hadn’t played yet and that kinda got me into a rabbit hole and now I am just into any kind of board game with interesting themes (Spirit Island is one that I will get today and look forward to trying out)
I have had this happen before and as someone who speaks multiple languages I just don’t get why it’s there in the first place. Specially since I had it happen that it gave me the error while I was writing in the language the post was in (in that case it was german)
I know a guy who wrote entire books about this back in the 19th century
I use Jerboa but I have 🔖 looking button underneath each post and comment that I can click to save and on the browser (at least for lemmy.one) it’s a ⭐ symbol
the problem I have with signal for talking to random people is I’d have to give them my phone number iirc
I replaced google calendar with proton calendar
I have a lemmy.world but it felt a bit slow and sometimes on jerboa I’d get a “pending” when I subscribed to communities on other instances, lemmy.one seems way faster and I don’t get the “pending” issue.
It really depends on the game, games like pokemon, ck3, ffxiv, wow, minecraft, and the elder scrolls, stardew valley, animal crossig etc I put a few hundred to 1000 hours in and I play them on and off throughout the year. Other games I play once and then maybe again in a few years if I liked it. It really depends. games I play for a long time need to be games I don’t feel bad for NOT playing for a long time.
But I am someone who always kinda has her own little story about the character I am playing while I play, so it’s always something new when I decide to make another playthrough. And which is why CK3 is the most dangerous timesink for me because you don’t just play one character
I am doing what I would have done on reddit, comment, interact with people. I rarely made posts over there as well though. I do also tell people about lemmy and about the jerboa for lemmy mobile app
