IBO is my favorite of the Gundam series.

I got it waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back at like 19-20 so about 20 years ago. And I’ve been meaning to change keyboards as well. Need something for these ham hands I have.

Oh God no. I hate pirates. Except space pirates. But it took me a few hours the first day and then about 8 hours today. First day I didn’t take any breaks and I wore my eyes out, so I ended up stopping much sooner than I would have liked. But today my wife made me take a five minute break every hour and I was able to knuckle down and get it done.

I enjoyed it a lot. I have to admit, I originally wasn’t keen on the Master Grade models. Felt they were just too much; preferred the Full Mechanics to them. But this model really changed my opinion.

That’s such a hard question for me to answer. Are we talking about well written and just an excellent foil for the protag? Then Nox the Xellor from Wakfu. Are we talking about one that steals the show every time they’re on screen? Then Char in every show he’s been in.

And I salute them and their skills. I just can’t join their ranks.

More than likely not. There’s a sticker sheet for some details. I know this is odd, but I kind of like the “model” look.

Thanks! I had wanted to get more done but my eyes were just not going to work with me after the few hours I had built. I’m going to tackle some more of it on Saturday and hopefully I can get it all done.

Have you watched Gundam Thunderbolts? It’s a short form anime but it should give you the hit you’re looking for.

There’s a few but they’re pretty anemic on posts. I myself am a pretty recent Redditfugee, so I’m sure they’ll grow. But I’ll post some progress and the finished as/when I can. Can’t do anything today as work is in a few hours.

I’d the pulling of funding from Mecha anime causing their last three episodes to be pseudo psychological flim flam. And I’d ban the use of “the robots we pilot were the things we were fighting the whole time!” trope.

Discussing that I won’t be joining. As it isn’t something I enjoy but also saying that I’m not ignorant of the show and its plot lines. And attempting to bridge the gap by offering something info like that’s equitable. And showcasing with the Toonami reference to have a shared bit of nostalgia.

I hate that the title makes it sound like they want physical media to go away. The only real reason I haven’t touched physical games in over a decade is that digital sales got better and so do my pay. Now I can afford the convenience tax that digital goods have.

I never understood the appeal. I mean I watched the last 5ish minutes with friends because it used to come on before Gundam on Toonami while I was in middle school/highschool.
