12·4 months agoWe are at immediate risk by our overexposure to the US economy. This is in terms of (i) their predictable economic risk and (ii) their (current) overt abuse of financial leverage.
We should treat as we would with any financial portfolio, which means that we should diversify to reduce our risks. We must invest positively for growth and development in the EU and wider world outside of the US.

132·4 months agoFor fucks sake! How the fuckety fuck did we get to a stage where we need a Nazi led country to tell us to stop being stupid, and for them be right? (On this occasion). As if we didn’t already have shame of the fact that we even proscribe this way…

9·4 months agoI’m more alarmed that we needed a study to show this.
Actually, maybe not. The US has expeirmented for decades with gun laws looser than driving test requirements, but cannot correlate this with deaths. They continue to run the trickle down economy experiment with only negative results. No indication of change other than pockets like NY.
There must be suggestions that we can contribute.

- Use AI wherever possible, but deny any hint of reliance

Please let us all remind the people we know who voted ‘leave’ about all the costs consequences vs what was promised. Remind them that these same people are re-selling their same bullshit to “fool them twice” with the same.
Nationally, we fucked up voting for Brexit. I have people that I haven’t spoken to since them, but if I think they will consider a return, I’d be round to theirs for a cuppa and catch up ASAP to drop it into conversation.
