This is ironic since Tesla itself is caught in the spiral around Elon Musk.

If I was cynical, it’s just a default response of someone who knows how to develop an app for the Apple ecosystem and not for the Google one.
It’s a bit sad that mobile phone apps are not cross-platform.
Ten years and counting here, fuck if anyone knows at this point. My personal (maybe a bit cynical) take is that it really doesn’t matter as the amount of coding skill you use maxes out in the first few years of your career (for 90% of us anyhow), after that cat herding skills and pragmatic system architecture is what’s important. It becomes more important to know what not to do rather than the opposite.
So it doesn’t really matter how fast you are at leetcode if you can navigate the particular brand of spaghetti your workplace is cooking, plus points if you are able and willing to grok new kinds so you can hop jobs because raises are so last century.
Yeah, unlike an outsourcing outfit an AI company won’t take the fall when given shit requirement and shit pay they deliver shit work.
I don’t think that will happen, there is no inbetween for him, it’s either impunity or death.
In a way, this might be good in that regard, as airlines will raise prices as they can no longer sell tickets without the carryon fee built in.
That will hurt ultra-low cost tickets the most and will most likely result in a bunch of canceled Ryanair destinations.
Thank Thatcher
To keep electricity cheap for AI I presume
Is your main income through capital or labour. That simple. Always been.
Some fucking good news, we need those every once in a while
How great is it that not only does the internet depend on like 5 monopolistic companies, but they also depend on each other too.
I guess the point is that it’s easier to just put a solar plant at the end of the wire going forward than to replace the heating at the site of consumption.
I don’t care for the Chinese leadership, but this is to be celebrated. Let’s all make progress.
Because the nazis bought the government that owns nasa
Just write out messenger ribonucleic acid. Or refer to it as a “transcriptome constituent”.
Add to waterfall that the dev team is replaced by a different team from India who don’t speak the same language and are abysmally motivated by abysmal pay. The old devs didn’t even leave the keys for the car, and the new ones are perfectly fine with just letting the engine fire exist because it was not in the management spec to put it out.
Considering the head of the Russian space programme threatened to yeet the ISS at Ukraine, relying on Soyuz might not be any more sane than this.
The FP4 is 10 years old? How long have I had mine I wonder?
Never had a case on it, dropped it quite a few times, once or twice off a tram onto the pavement.
I started to notice some very thin cracks forming around the edges of the screen, but the frame looks like I took an angle grinder to it.
I don’t plan to replace it any time soon.
Throwing a ball is about as easy as throwing a stick.
Yeah but the stick goes further because all the weight is at the end so it gets more momentum on the same throwing arc
Yeah, and also zero dependency management, so you are free to figure out what combination of Python, Tensorflow and Keras will make it not throw random exceptions.
And don’t forget the number one rule: you must use all the graphing libraries, all the time.
Another CxU policy failure. Maybe going all in on Russian oil was a bad idea.
