And, sample size of one, but my company does not really advertise jobs anymore, they still recruit regularly but mainly through recruitment agencies these days. For your industry, i’m guessing you’re looking at London, perhaps Manchester, for location. Both are more expensive than average to live in

No idea what it is like in your industry, but in mine, IT, i get plenty of offers from recruitment agencies and headhunters through linkedin, even though i am not active there at all. Good luck!

I saw the original post in TIL, not in a political community where it may be (slightly) more acceptable. It’s never ok to divert reports of criminality away from the authorities and towards political organisations. And listing a bunch of phone numbers of a political organisation without stating their affiliation is misleading.

So it’s bad advice, they are not independent or impartial. (And just to be clear: i don’t have a vote in this election)
