Eh…I’m willing to bet that he said that because Mark Robinson is black.
Not because he’s any sort of civil rights activist.

I’ve actually been thinking about playing Fallout again. I don’t even remember half the things you’re talking about.
Ah the memories.
I think the filibuster is a valuable tool that is important for defeating certain bad legislation
What might be bad for you might be good for someone else.
I agree with getting rid of the procedural filibuster. I suspect the reason it exists in the first place is because Senators are getting old and don’t want to actually do it.
So, for good and bad, make them actually stand and deliver. If they feel so strongly that a bill needs to be killed, then let them fucking earn it.
I’ve seen some arbitration agreements stating that you can’t collaborate with other customers who are affected by the same issue, requiring each customer to have a different attorney.
Some companies really want to make it impossible for you to win any significant damages against them.
At that point, they are just telling on themselves.
If they raise the price, then they only get money once. If they sell your data, now they have an income stream.
They are likely mad that their kid misses the bus which makes them late to work which makes them fall behind.
Not defending asshole behavior but I’ve seen enough parents race through my small neighborhood to drop off their kid at the bus stop.
We need to stop tying healthcare to our jobs. We need universal healthcare to make it easy for people to just go from job to job.
One of the main reasons I stay at my job is because they cover my Botox for migraines
I actually felt it was…odd as well.
Just out of place. I support Ukraine and believe we should be contributing to their war effort but felt like his visit was ill-timed, especially given the fact that Pennsylvania is a swing state and he was visiting an ammunition factory which likely has MAGAs in it.
Honestly, I am surprised he didn’t have any incidents.
The way I read the tea leaves, the larger union was too divided. The union president spoke at the Republican national convention so make of that what you will.
The speculation was that the individual union sections can now endorse who they want. Now instead of one big announcement, we’re getting announcements that are getting a lot of press coverage because of the national non-endorsement.
Trump probably thought he got a win but now it’s day after day of endorsement for Harris and you know that’s got to be eating at him.
His racism covers a lot of sins.
It’s exactly that reasoning that Republicans want to get rid of them.
“If a company thought the job was important, they would be doing it!”
It’s one of the reasons why I hate license proliferation. These custom licenses aren’t tested against case law so if they think you’re in violation you have to defend yourself.
The only way to give these assholes a run for their money is for people to start forking the project and ignoring any terms that are in violation of the GitHub TOS.
The Winamp Collaborative License is a free, copyleft license for software and other kinds of works. It is designed to ensure that you have the freedom to use, Modify, and study the software, but with certain restrictions on the distribution of modifications to maintain the integrity and collaboration of the project.
Oh god…
No Distribution of Modified Versions: You may not distribute modified versions of the software, whether in source or binary form. No Forking: You may not create, maintain, or distribute a forked version of the software. Official Distribution: Only the maintainers of the official repository are allowed to distribute the software and its modifications.
Copy left is not a protected term but yeah this is a shit license.
And how the fuck do you contribute code back without forking the project?!
EDIT: It looks like an issue has already been created and I absolutely love this thread where the license they are using is in violation of Github TOS.
They should have just kept the source closed! The speculation is that whomever purchased it wants to crowdsource contributions without adding any value themselves.
I could see tor browser continuing to be developed. There are enough users who are technical enough to take on a browser project.
Christ…this needed to be major news a year ago. We really need to get banks out of the payment business but fear that they are pulling an Intuit and will make the FedNow system more challenging to use down the road.
Technically the ruling was for crimes official acts he committed while in office.
He’s no longer president and holds no privilege, except being the Republican nominatee for President. Which apparently is a protected class.
Did I miss something? What Republican plan? I’ve always heard that it’s Two Weeks™ away from being released.
Link to the printer?
On the one hand, it’s a multi-million dollar campaign for President of the United States.
On the other hand, their target audience is not going to give one flying FUCK that the picture is wrong.
Fwiw they aren’t really asking about the motorcycle. I mean they are but they are washing your mouse movements and how fast you click through the images. It’s okay to get a few images wrong.
