  • Problems like this are just handwaved away because nuclear waste could in theory be safely disposed of. In the cases where is hasn’t been the pro nuclear guys just say “well if they did it properly it wouldn’t be an issue”, which might be true but if countries like the UK, US and Germany have had issues, you have to ask if its really realistic to assume that the problem will always be dealt with properly.

The other answer is some future tech reactor that hasn’t been built on any real world scale that runs on nuclear waste and produces none. Great idea in theory but how does it compare with renewables in terms of cost?

  • I’m finding it a bit underwhelming to be honest. It was so hyped, but it just feels like Dark Souls 4. I don’t find the open world really adds a lot apart from a lot of empty space filled with crafting components. The worlds in souls and sekiro were so carefully crafted and put together and I feel like the open world ruins that a bit. I guess after Sekiro did something similar but significantly different, I was expecting Elden Ring to be a bit more innovative. If I hadn’t already played the hell out of the three Dark Souls games I might enjoy Elden more. I’ll probably still beat it though and might change my opinion by the end - I certainly hated Sekiro and Dark Souls at times before I came to love them.

  • You should always signal to exit a roundabout after you pass the exit before the one you want to take. If you want to take the first exit, signal before you enter the roundabout. If you want to take the second exit, signal after you pass the first exit etc.

If you’re taking an exit more than 180 degrees around the circle from the entrance, you should signal the other direction to show that you are staying on the roundabout and then signal to leave after you pass the exit before the one you want. E.g. if you’re in a country where you drive on the right and the roundabout is on a traditional crossroad ‘+’ and you want to take the third (left) or fourth (u turn) exit then you should indicate left to start with and then indicate right to exit.

Note that this is what you should do. You will see drivers not signalling correctly in any country with roundabouts. The most common error is probably not indicating at all when going straight.
