Idk about Dollar General and such, but every place I go to tells you the subtotal (before tax) and total (after tax). I find it it be pretty easy but I’m also paying attention to prices as they ring up.

Jesus christ, some of these things rang up >50% more expensive. Do people really not notice stuff like this? I’d love to say I catch it every time it happens, but that’s probably some type of bias. I’ve definitely caught it several times over the years.
It’s also illegal for them, at least in my state but I hope in all states, to not honor the shelf price when pointed out. They are also required to update the shelf price in a timely manner afterward. Can’t remember the exact time but I want to say it’s a day or two. If they don’t, you can report them.
I’ve had this happen a few times. And at Home Depot the employee ripped off the shelf tag off right in front of me. Honored the price, of course.

🤣🤣🤣
The things tech bros say are too amusing. So delusional; all of it.

I guess people have liked all the extra stuff they’ve made since they keep making more, but I don’t get it.

I did none of that and they gave me a real ID when I last renewed.

Yea, I felt a lot were missing which made me wonder what criteria was used in the first place.

It’s a much more exclusive list than I initially expected so I’m less sure how I feel about the reclassification. But somehow Theology made the cut? Just… what?
My brain is ready to explode.

4 Hapsburgs walk out?

My conclusion is that the author doesn’t know how to use OOP properly and thus is calling the entire thing garbage. You only have to look at the method vs function argument to see that.
I program in both styles every day. They both have advantages and disadvantages. Though, admittedly, it’s difficult to differentiate between IDE benefits, language benefits, and language style (FP vs OOP) benefits.
I’ll tell you what I hate about the FP language I use. How do you determine if two objects are related to one another in some way? Hope and pray to God someone documented it because the language sure won’t give you any hints. If you set up your objects in OOP right, it’s all laid out in the models.

I didn’t know there was a way to make a wireless keyboard worse. But by god, they’ve done it.

I think you meant serf.

FOMO
Gotta get that dopamine hit.

If they can use the internet in Windows and in Linux… How is there any real difference to the end user?
They aren’t saying Linux doesn’t have advantages. They’re saying those differences don’t matter for what most people do.
Another example, playing games. There’s no advantage in playing a game in Linux over Windows, or vice versa.

I’m certainly not an expert here, but doesn’t that mean AT LEAST $1t was transacted? Market cap is cost x quantity. Losing $1t market cap is the net change though. Could have had $2t sells and $t buys for a total of $3t in transactions.
Though, the net change matters more.
Of course he would. He’s made bank since becoming president.
