What can the average person do? Serious question.
Who should the violent person target? Also, serious question.

Until they fear for their lives, nothing will change. Prove me wrong.

lol this happened to a friend of mine, they all had to form a blockade around the car to keep it from driving off while they figured out what to do. I think eventually they were able to call or reach someone that re-popped the trunk.

I ended up paying a nearby ISP indirectly tens of thousands to just run fiber to my house instead of use Starlink :/
Privileged maneuver, I know, and I also had to sign a 10 year contract but I’m not going anywhere.

Holy crap, I thought I was rough with 3 monitors, 3 desktops.

I hope you told them to fuck off

Depending on the application and the way it is used, AI absolutely works as promised.
But those instances are few and far between and the general hype and expectations are far and above yield.
As someone who uses AI daily to produce faster and better, I absolutely hope the bubble pops and shit collapses.

Good on him.

That’s insane. A company I work at leverages AI heavily across sales, product, engineering, etc.
Company of 50ish.
Nobody I know at our size or smaller uses it as heavily as us. I realize that’s subjective.
We’re sub $20k/mo.
This person is not using a tool correctly. They’re probably burning on inference. Probably inflated rules and context. Probably shipping slop and then fixing slop with slop. Absolute garbage.

Recommendations for mobile?

The Volt was my first into electric (I realize it isn’t a full EV).
My Bolt was amazing. I loved that vehicle. I went with range anxiety and turns out, there was none.
I’ve had 4 different EVs since and I’m never going back. I don’t remember what oil changes or gas stations are even like.

Can they make it less large? It takes up like 25% of the screen (half sarcasm).
Fuck Microsoft.

Can’t wait to leave the US and actually have access to this.

As a developer using AI, I’m doing more work in less time and slow rolling PRs so I can have more free time every day.
Any developer not doing this is either using ChatGPT/Copilot or isn’t using the tooling properly. Or, well, isn’t allowed to due to company policy.
I’ll milk this as long as I can, but unfortunately I also see the writing on the wall that the quantity of jobs is going to tank substantially.

Burn baby burn.

Good.

Uh…anywhere? There are plenty of alternatives that are less bloated and less shitty and faster.
I honestly don’t even know why people use it.
Desperate times, desperate measures.
