All that’s required is your browser of choice. This installs it as a progressive webapp.
The app will show up on your home screen. There’s no way to add it to your app drawer sadly…
This will serve as a solution until the native apps are up to par. Or if other completed projects like RedReader decide to add Lemmy support.

You’re welcome. I tried one of the apps that was touted as very good (Jerboa) and, to be frank, it’s not really good. Opening images does not open them within the app, but instead it opens them in whatever default browser you have selected.
Pretty much I immediately stopped using it and instead installed the PWA for this site using Brave (Chromium based browsers tend to work better for this, in my experience). And then I thought other people probably don’t know how to do this, so that’s when I made this quick tutorial.
