🇺🇸🇮🇷 The US military has been secretly shepherding commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz, with ships running dark to avoid Iranian detection, the New York Times reports.

Around 70 vessels have made the crossing in recent weeks, averaging three ships per day. Before the war, more than 100 ships passed through daily. The US is not providing formal escort, with the Pentagon keeping its distance from any direct protection role.

“Although US forces are not accompanying, we continue to communicate and coordinate with commercial vessels,” a CENTCOM spokesperson said.

The operation exposes Washington’s diminished position in the waterway. More than half of the 895 total crossings recorded are still using the route running close to the Iranian coast, indicating coordination with Tehran rather than Washington.

Iran, in other words, remains the dominant power in the strait. The US is sneaking three ships a day through with transponders off.

Fake news. They aren’t “shepherding” shit unless the us navy is going though the strait.

Maybe some boats have smuggled us navy personnel through but they weren’t oil tankers. There are hundreds of small boats sailing through there every day. Commercial vessels export agricultural products from Iran through there all the time.

I bet drug cartels have more vehicles loaded with drugs transiting single border crossings into the usa every single day.

❗️Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf: We will not accept any agreement that does not produce tangible results

Speaking after being re-elected as Speaker of Parliament, Ghalibaf said Iran will not accept any agreement with the United States unless the rights of the Iranian people are guaranteed and concrete results are secured.

He stressed that Iran does not trust the statements or promises of its adversaries, adding: “Our only criterion is achieving tangible results before we fulfill our commitments.”

Ghalibaf also said that unity and solidarity remain the most important factors behind Iran’s victory in the war.

❗️Hillel Bitton Rosen (Israel’s Channel 14) reports that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and War Minister Israel Katz are reportedly leaning toward approving major strikes across Lebanon, including issuing forced displacement orders affecting hundreds of thousands of Lebanese civilians.

I said this was going to be the plan after the zionists claimed Hezbollah was no longer being effected by strikes in the South. Utter scum.

🇮🇱⚡️🇱🇧 Criminal Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

I instructed the IDF to expand the maneuver in Lebanon. Our forces crossed powerful obstacles. They seized commanding terrain and captured the Beaufort Ridge.

And now my instruction is to deepen and expand our hold on areas that were under Hezbollah’s control.

We are initiating action, we are operating on all fronts—in Syria, in Gaza, and in Lebanon.

It will take time, but we will complete the mission.

    — 🇮🇱/🇱🇧/🇮🇷 NEW: The IDF has managed to capture Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon, which was last occupied by Israel in May 2000, more than 26 years ago.

Israel continues its advance in southern Lebanon, mostly by indiscriminate bombing and flattening of villages before advancing, and using banned ‘white phosphorous’ bombs to cover them.

Despite the Israeli push, casualties have increased in recent weeks due to Hezbollah’s usage of FPV drones, and this threat is expected to only get worse as the IDF pushes deeper into southern Lebanon.

The IDF is now converging on the first major Shia city — the city of Nabatieh — where it is expected that a very fierce battle will take place.

Amid all of this, Hezbollah has expanded its missile fire into Israel.
