I mean, I’d believe it. Madoka Magica was in work since early last decade.

The art in the manga seemed really detailed and intricate, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the animation took time.

I haven’t watched the anime yet. I read through about 20 chapters of the manga and dropped it. I just got bored of it.

I’ll put it on my watchlist for a rainy day.
