Personally I disagree with their claim that Mussolini’s usage contradicts the idea (beyond the fact that he was quite proud of the fascism label), nor do I find their claim being based on his printed works alone being particularly persuasive when he spent so much time giving speeches.
Regardless it’s a decent enough summary of the effects of his more famous and definitely proven “everything within the state” lines.
The quote is poignant, but it is incorrectly attributed to Mussolini.
