I find the numbers of humans killed depressing, only because even shitty people deserve to live a life somewhere.
BUT. That said. Do not think I have unlimited sympathy for Russian terrorist invaders, who force the issue and force Ukraine to kill them for survival’s sake.
So in that sense: The more the merrier until Russia eventually gives up and retreats. Russian military: Go fuck yourself.
…but it still sucks. And especially the Ukrainians who die defending their country from terrorism/invasion.
Yes but remember, russia wakes up every day and chooses this war. This is not a conflict that is inherently endless.
Thus while I think all war is bad and that violence never actually solves things in the end I don’t see this war the way I see most other wars. This is a war russia wakes up every day and choses, it was not ordained, it is not a war maintained because russia was actually facing any existential threat. This is just a dumb war.
